MAESTRO heat resistant black 9004 aerosol

Colour:
Product code: TE00941
Packaging:
Package: 5pcs.

MAESTRO Heat Resistant Paint is suited for the painting of metal surfaces exposed to high temperatures, such as mufflers, engines, high pressure pipelines and furnaces.

In order to reach optimal hardness it is necessary to expose the treated surface to a temperature of at least 150 °C for 20 minutes. Stoving can be carried out during operation (the paint coating is easily damaged on temperatures lower than 150 C°).

It ries quickly and it forms a hard and flexible layer after stoving; stove hardened surfaces become water and detergent resistant.

The white and silver coloured paint is heat resistant for up to 650 °C, the black and red coloured product is heat resistant for up to 700 °C. Painted surfaces can be re-sprayed after a 15 minutes drying period! It is recommended to sand the surface to be painted with a P80 grade emery-cloth before painting.

    ADVICE FOR PAINTING, AEROSOL TECHNIQUES

The basis of painting is the appropriate preparation of the surface (polishing, degreasing and roughening), as the new decoration will be durable and of high-quality only on a well-prepared surface.

The paint shall be applied on a cleaned and dry surface, preferably at 20-25°C. Before starting painting, shake the bottle until at least 1 minute to let the material therein homogenise.

Spray the surface evenly and softly from a distance of 20-30 cm (8-12 inch). Even covering can be achieved by cross-spraying. During spraying, cross the border of the surface to be painted in case of each change of direction.

The material in the aerosol is significantly more diluted than the standard paints for the sake of good applicability, therefore, it is prone to streaming. Upon application, ensure to spray only a thin layer at the same time onto the surface. This can be repeated multiple times after a short drying time.

In case of the incidental clogging of the valve or after finishing painting, flush the nozzle with the propellant: operate the bottle upside down for 2-3 seconds.

Make sure of the perfect quality of the MAESTRO aerosol paints and of the usefulness of the recommendations above.

    Keep up the good work!

The easier use of the MAESTRO aerosol paints are supported by practical row of pictogram on the can.

    Using instructions

    • Thoroughly sand the surface with an at least P80 emery cloth.  The paint shall be applied on a cleaned, degreased and dry surface, preferably at 20-25°C (68-77°F).

    • Shake the bottle for 1 minute after the start of the movement of the balls.

    • Spray the surface evenly and softly, which can be resprayed after 15 minutes of drying time.

In case of the incidental clogging of the valve, operate the bottle by turning the nozzle. After use, operate the bottle upside down for 2-3 seconds.

    • The coating is hardened only after a 150°C (302°F) heat treatment for at least 20 minutes, which may occur by the operational heating of the painted surface.
